Louis A. Steffes

Louis A. Steffes, 32, town of Forrest, Fond du Lac, county, passed away at 5 a.m. Thursday, after an attack of polio. His death was the third polio fatality in that area this year.

Steffes, a veteran of World War II, was the manager of the Tolibia Cheese factory in the town of Forrest.

Funeral services will be held at 9:30 a.m. Saturday at the Zacherl Funeral home, and at 10 a.m. at Holy Cross Catholic church in Mt. Calvary. Burial will be made in the church cemetery.
