Killed in France
TYLER, Texas, Dec. 9—Pvt. Vinson Williams, Jr., son of Mr. and Mrs. Vinson Williams of this city, was killed in action in France last Nov. 5, his wife had been informed by the War Department. He was at first reported missing in action. A memorial service in his honor was held Wednesday afternoon at the Gresham Baptist Church. He was 19 and had been overseas since July.
