Martin, Milam Travis

GRAHAM, Texas – Milam Travis Martin, 81, of Graham died Friday, Aug. 28, 1998, in a local care center.
Services will be at 11 a.m. Monday at Morrison Funeral Home Chapel with the Rev. Dale Brooks, pastor of Bethel Baptist Church in Graham, and the Rev. Carl Gates, pastor of Grace Chapel in Graham, officiating. Burial will be at 3 p.m. Monday in Amity Cemetery in Rising Star, Texas.

Mr. Milam was born June 9, 1917, in Comanche County, Texas. He and Lela Lester Ingram were married Nov. 29, 1942, in El Paso. He was a veteran of the Army, serving in the First Cavalry during World War II. He was a retired school custodian for the Graham Independent School District. He was a member of Bethel Baptist Church.
