Twelve Dead, Three Wounded, 9 Missing Between Sept. 7-21
WASHINGTON, Oct. 2. (AP)--The Navy Department announced Friday that its newest casualty list, covering the period from Sept. 7 to 21, inclusive, contained the names of twenty-four Texans.
Twelve are listed as dead, three wounded and nine missing.
Two enlisted men announced as missing on the previous list, released Sept. 17, were listed now as wounded.
