THEODORE BACHMAN was born in Fayette, New York, and was a carpenter by occupation ; he enlisted August 5th, 1862, aged twenty-two years, and, taking part in the battle of Harper's Ferry, deserted at Chicago, Illinois, October 29th, 1862. Co. I, 126th Regiment Infantry New York, Disaster, struggle, triumph. Dedicated to the 126th Regiment of New York State Volunteers, 1870
