Bigelow, Charles L.

CHARLES L. BIGLOW was born in Sterling, New York, and was by occupation a carpenter ; he enlisted at Phelps, August, 1862, aged twenty-six years, and was appointed Sergeant on the organization of the Company ; he was in the battles of Harper's Ferry and Gettysburg ; he was discharged May 13th, 1864, on account of wounds received in action at Gettysburg, July 3d, 1863. Co. H, 126th Regiment Infantry New York, Disaster, struggle, triumph. Dedicated to the 126th Regiment of New York State Volunteers, 1870. [Page 534 of the book read Charles D.
