Castillo, Thomas

THOMAS CASTILLO was born in Ireland, and was by occupation a shoemaker ; he enlisted August 16th, 1862, aged eighteen years, and. participated in the following battles : Harper's Ferry, Gettysburg, Auburn Ford, Bristow Station, Mine Run and Morton's Ford ; he was detached in provost guard at Headquarters 2d Army Corps, April 4th, 1864, and, serving in the detachment until the close of the war, was discharged with the Regiment. Co. G, 126th Regiment Infantry New York, Disaster, struggle, triumph. Dedicated to the 126th Regiment of New York State Volunteers, 1870
