HAMILTON BUSH was born in Seneca, New York, and was a farmer by occupation ; he enlisted July 23d, 1802, aged twenty-three years ; participated in the battle of Harper's Ferry, Virginia, September 13th, 14th and 15th, 1862, and. died of disease at Chicago, Illinois, November 6th, 1862. Co. G, 126th Regiment Infantry New York, Disaster, struggle, triumph. Dedicated to the 126th Regiment of New York State Volunteers, 1870
