Morrison, Andrew J. - Col.

MORRISON---In Schenectady, N. Y., Jan. 28. Col. Andrew J. Morrison. He fought in five wars under four different flags---in the Mexican War, when he was 16 years of age; under Lopez in his three expeditions against Cuba, under Gen. Walker in Nicaragua, under Garibaldi in Italy and in the Civil War. He organized the famous Black Horses cavalry. He was born in Argyle in 1831. His later years were devoted to the mail service as a railway clerk on the Boston and Maine.
