White, Asa M.

Comrade Asa M. White died Monday morning, aged 49 years 5 months and 17 days. He enlisted in the 14th New Hampshire Regiment in 1861, with his brother Adolphus, and went to Poolsville, Md., where his brother was taken sick and died. He has been out of health ever since discharged from the army. He was a member of John Sedgwick Post G. A. R. of Keene. The funeral services will take afternoon at 2 o'clock, probably in charge of the G. A. R. Post of Keene. He leaves a wife and two sons, Homer and Bert; also a father and mother-in-law, and five brothers, Thomas H., Homer E., Ashley N., Leslie R. and Milton J.; also two sisters, Sarah Shattuck and Mary Jewett.
