O'Keefe, Norris

O’KEEFE FUNERAL

Military funeral services for Norris O’Keefe of Willington, formerly of Stafford, were held this morning at the Stevens-Plante funeral home followed by a requiem high mass in St. Edward’s Church at 9 with Rev. Albert C. Gunquinto of Storrs officiating in the sanctuary were Rev. James C. O’Brien of Storrs and Rev. Charles O’Leary of St. Edward’s Church. Mrs. Howard Learned was organist. Members of Strazza-Tonoli Post, American Legion, under direction of Comdr. Hugo Talamini conducted the military service, with Joseph Introvigne, Jr., as chaplain. The color guard included Ephriam Mirza and Gildo Gregori; color bearers were Raymond B. Kelsey and Michael Kaschuluk; The firing squad comprised Attilio Zamechiei and Hugo Talamini. Robert Modr. was bugler. Bearers were Raymond Fitz, Albert Arluc, John Syzdek, Benjamin O’Connell, Wilfred Robuchaud and Walter Lynch. Burial was in St. Edward’s Cemetery with Fr. Gunquinto conducting the committal service.
