Copeland, Edgar F.
Edgar F. Copeland died December 23, 1925, aged 81 years. He was born in Dover, Vt., son of Harvey and Betsey (May) Copeland; resided in Colrain about fifty-five years where he was a most successful farmer specializing in apples and breeding Holstein cattle, his herd being among the best in the country. In 1923 he removed to Greenfield. He enlisted July 8, 1862, in Co. K, 9th Vermont regiment; mustered out June 13, 1865; a member of H. S. Greenleaf Post of Colrain.
