Stowe, John Henry
John Henry Stowe died October 29, 1924, aged 85. He was son of John Stowe, and born in Wilmington, Vt., where for forty years he carried on a farm, coming to Greenfield in 1904. He enlisted from Wilmington, December 17, 1861, in Co. H, 8th Vermont Volunteers; mustered out June 22, 1864; a member of Edwin E. Day Post.
