Class, Christian
Christian C. Class died June 9, 1918, aged 79 years. He was born in 1838 at Bingen, Germany, son of William and Jacobina Class and for many years worked at the trade of a cutler; later became a paper box manufacturer, retiring about 1901. He enlisted from Deerfield, September 23, 1861 in Co. G, 25th Massachusetts Volunteer Infantry; discharged Aug. 14, 1862, for loss of leg; member of Edwin E. Day Post [GAR].
