Hobaugh, Clarence Newell

HOBAUGH, CLARENCE NEWELL - - - Private
Son of Cyreneus and Martha A. Hobaugh; born May 2,
1898, in Carroll County, Ind. Removed to Logansport about
1902. Tailor. Enlisted in U.S. Regular Army June 17, 1916,
Logansport, Ind. Sent to Columbus Barracks, Ohio; assigned
to Coast Artillery, 1st Anti-air Craft Battery. Served on
Mexican Border in 1916; overseas in November, 1917. Died of
pneumonia November 4, 1918. Body to be returned to U.S.
for burial.
