GLOSSOP, GEORGE EVERARD - - 2nd Lieutenant
Son of Mr. and Mrs. Francis Glossop; born August 13, 1889,
Ft. Dodge, Iowa. In U.S. Navy, 1907-1911. Graduate of
Purdue University. Athletic Director, University of Washing-
ton. Entered service May 15, 1918, Walla Walla, Washington.
Sent to Camp Taylor, Ky. Instructor in Officers Training
School, Field Artillery. Died of influenza October 16, 1918,
Camp Taylor, Ky. Buried, Brownsburg, Ind. Survived by
widow, Alfrieda B. Glossop, and two children, George Everard,
and Sarah Ellene, Syracuse, Ind.
