NOONEY, KENNETH WASHBURN - - - Bugler

Stepson of Mr. and Mrs. John Pressler of Elkhart; born
August 14, 1900, Springfield, Mass. Working in Elkhart,
Ind., when he enlisted with the Indiana National Guard, 3rd
Infantry, for service on the Mexican Border. Re-enlisted in
June, 1917. Sent to Camp Shelby, Miss.; assigned to Battery
E, 137th Field Artillery. Promoted to Bugler, and acting
Corporal. Died of valvular heart trouble May 5, 1918, Camp
Shelby, Miss. (Burial place unknown.)
