KENT, WILLIAM B. - Corporal
Son of William J. and Mary Bell Mullenix Kent; born January
13, 1897, Eaton, Delaware County, Ind. Enlisted in
U.S. Regular Army in June, 1916; served on Mexican Border.
Honorably discharged because of physical disability.
Re-enlisted September 10, 1917, Parkersburg, W. Va. Sent to
Camp Greene, N. C. Overseas in April, 1918; attached to
5th Division. Killed in action September 16, 1918, battle of
St. Mihiel. Body to be returned to U.S., and buried in Soldier's
Plot, City Cemetery, Muncie, Ind.
