Meenan, Clarence Robert
MEENAN—Clarence Robert Meenan, 72, Mary M. Baker324 Gilbert Terr., died at 6:20 a. m. Wednesday, Aug. 8, 1962, in St. Anthony Hospital after a short illness. Born July 17, 1890, in Parks Hill, Ind., son of Mr. and Mrs. Sid Meenan. Lived 20 years in Rockford, coming here from DeKalb. Married to the former in Chicago, Aug. 4, 1917. Employed as an electric inspector by Barber-Coman Co. for 14 years. He retired in January, 1958. Veteran of World War I serving in the U. S. Army band. Attended schools in Rochelle, Ill.
Survivors include: his widow; a daughter, Mrs. Mary Roberta Sonas, Lowes Park; four sisters, Mrs. William Jackson, Smyrna Beach, Fla.’ Mrs. William Witte, Saginaw, Mich.; Mrs. Alfred Betz and Mrs. Frank Gunther, both of Oak Park; a brother, Lloyd H., Tucson, Ariz., and two grandsons.
Services of 3 p.m. Friday, Aug. 10, in DELEHANTY FUNERAL HOME, 401 River Lane.
